15Q20M (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a daily math practice workbook and companion web application for elementary and middle school students. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website at 15q20m.com and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Parent/Guardian Accounts

When a parent or guardian creates an account, we collect:

Email address
Password (stored securely via Supabase Auth, hashed and salted)
Display name

Student Access Accounts

When a parent signs up, a student access account is automatically created alongside it. The student does not sign up independently — access is granted through the parent’s registration. Student access accounts contain:

Display name (set by the parent)
A system-generated Student PIN for login
Practice scores and completion records

Students never provide personal information themselves. No email address, date of birth, or other identifying data is collected from students. Student login uses a parent-assigned PIN only.

Automatically Collected

Basic usage data (pages visited, features used)
Device type and browser information
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymized performance metrics

3. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Student access accounts are created automatically as part of parent registration and are managed entirely by the parent or guardian. Students never enter personal information themselves. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the 15Q20M service
To grade practice sessions and generate progress reports
To authenticate users and protect accounts
To send essential service communications (e.g., password resets)
To improve our product and fix issues

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement row-level security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting
Vercel — website hosting and analytics
Amazon — workbook sales and fulfillment (separate privacy policy applies)

7. Your Rights

You may:

Access your account data at any time through the app
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Update or correct your information through your account settings
