    Subtracting, multiplying, and dividing multi-digit numbers, plus rounding.

  • Fractions & Decimals

    4 questions

    Comparing fractions, adding mixed numbers, multiplying a fraction by a whole number, and ordering decimals.

  • Factors & Word Problems

    2 questions

    Division word problems with remainders, and telling prime from composite numbers.

  • Measurement & Angles

    3 questions

    Unit conversions, area word problems, and finding unknown angles.

  • Geometry

    1 question

    Classifying shapes by their sides and angles.

Questions 1 to 4 are quick computation. The rest get harder as they go and include word problems. Each question is aligned to a 4th grade Common Core standard.

How to use it

  1. Print the test. Remove the last page (the answer key) before your child starts.
  2. Set a 20-minute timer. Your child works alone with a pencil. No calculator.
  3. When time is up, enter the answers online, or check them against the key yourself.
  4. Look at the skill breakdown as well as the total. It shows where the misses came from.
